Penkon Gıda San. A.S. was established in 1998 by a partnership of Jahncke Fruchtsäfte und Konz. Kg “Sunshine Fruit Verwaltung Gmbh” and “Gençoğlu Holding - Bursa“ in Çivril, Denizli with a surface area of 100.000 m2 . Investment cost is approximately 11.000.000 € and paid in capital is 800.000 YTL. Being close to the raw material and to the port of export is one of the important reason for the selection of the location. This region can be defined as”Fruit Growing Area”.
Factory has approximately 80.000 tons of annual fruit processing capacity in a 16.000 m2 covered area. The machinery and the equipment were chosen with the most up-to-date new technology at the time of establishment and this principle is applied for the additional investments as well. The value of the additional investments is approximately 8.000.000 € since the establishment time. After the installation of clear juice concentrate line in 1998, aseptic puree production had been started. The world-wide known machineries such as Bucher, Flottweg, Wiegand, Unipektin, Rossi Catelli, Fbr-Elpo, Westfalia are installed to built one of the most modern plants in Turkey.
